About Us

We are Kate & Janet - we are English and Scottish born and now live and work in Llanfrynach within the beautiful Brecon Beacons in Wales.  We set up The Mallow Tailor in 2019 to create luxury chocolates and marshmallow and have been heavily influenced by the wonderful produce Wales has to offer.

We make our luxury decorated chocolates, chocolate fillings, slabs and french gourmet marshmallow by hand and in very small batches resulting in a premium product you won't find anywhere else.

We are great supporters of local business and source some of the best ingredients, ranging from Dragon Welsh salted butter, Cotteswold cream as well as Halen Mon sea salt - we even source our loose teas from our local tea emporium in Brecon.  All of these ingredients, along with our own recipes, make our luxury handmade chocolates and french style marshmallow very unique.

Sustainability is very important to us, so we've decided to keep it simple and use high quality traditional materials such as recycled paper and tin.  Our containers are beautiful, strong and rigid, and we encourage you to re-use these.
